winter wheel/tire sizing

I'm going to start shopping around for a set of winter wheels and tires for my 2006 330i w/ sport package.

What is the minimum wheel size can I put on the car?

16"... but we only have one 16" wheel that will clear the brakes on the car : The Sport Edition A7.
