As an aside ScottZHP, I just noticed an example of fine British engineering, ensconced in that garage of yours. I'm also a fellow masochist. Have a 1957 Austin-Healy 100-6 in my garage that needs attention.

Healey parts are out of my budget at the moment. Probably cost about 75 large to properly restore a 100. I'd give my left nut for a 100-M/LeMans. :D

Also have a Triumph, need to update that photo.

Great to drive. Makes good power. Very decent suspension especially in the rear. Cool flip-forward bonnet. Nifty gas cap mounted on top of the leading edge of the the boot.

That a "79 or "80? Hardtop too?

Very nice.

Rubber lips are being replaced with chrome.

In fact I have driven several of Colin Chapmans creations... the Super 7/Caterham in particular. As well as the Elan and the Esprit (a turbocharged piece-of-mid-80s-crap).

I currently own a 1998 Esprit. Thing works like a hose, Great vehicle.

Have owned an original Lotus 7 in the past. Incredible car. That baby really did it's thing amigo.

Loved my last Elan. A '74 model. That was a kick in the ass, :D

Austin, Texas had soooo many British sports cars rolling about at one time that it was almost insane. You could pick up just about anything at a great price.
