Will a set of 235/40-18 tires fit OK on a rim that specifies 225/40-18 sizing? (BMW Style 71 front rims-planning to use 4 fronts in a non-staggered setup on my 2004 330ci/sport pkg.).

The 235's are 10mm wider than the 225's; is this OK? Or do the numbers need to match exactly?

The Style 71 rim is available as an 18x8 or 18x8.5....

I was going to use 4 18x8's all around...

Either 225/40R8 or 235/40R18 will work fine in that case.
