Sounds amazing... X-pipe instead of front resonator and left the rear one in. will post sound clip shortly. Thinking about having the rear resonator taken out too. what do you guys think?
Oh and btw... Maybe someone can learn from my mistakes. the piping on a vert is 2 1/4 inch not 2.5!!! lol figured that out when he was trying to fit the damn thing. so the perfect match for the 6 is a magnaflow with the part number 11365 sofar although it's a center/offset. Don't know about the 11235 since it's 3 inches longer but i assume so. if possible get that one since it has offset/offset.

custom x-pipe front but left the rear resonators in. was worried i was going to get popping or droning or super loud.. and it's not broken in yet.
Anyone interested in a custom x-pipe for the 6? i told the guy at the shop that i'd see if anyone was interested.

you can cut off the stock muffler and throw in the magnaflow with the stock tips which is what i did. most guys get a quad exhaust when they do the exhaust conversion but i didn't want to cut the bumper.
resonator dampens the noise level of the exhaust. the 6 has two of them so taking out one makes it louder but not too loud. i took out the front resonator and put in an x-pipe. the x-pipe increases the flow of the exhaust.
Hope this helped

Yep, he summed it up pretty well.
Basically the game starts with the headers -> two cats -> 2 resonators -> mid pipe -> mufflers
Removal of cats and resonators will increase sound level from anywhere between 20-40% after swapping out aftermarket mufflers.
X-pipe design replaces midpipes to increase velocity of exhaust gases hence increases responsiveness at throttle.
