I am about to make an offer on a manual 335i coupe. Some people said that the automatic transmission credit for manual 335i ended in July while some said it is still available. Can anyone confirm if it is still available?
Thanks.

I believe that it ended in June. As of now, no automatic = no automatic credit.

I also learned on here that they stopped giving the credit for non-automatics.

Where did someone say it is still available? It is definitely only applicable to cars equipped with an automatic transmission now.

It only applies to auto trans like you get auto trans option for free. No credit if you get manual.

Are you in SF bay area? Where did you find this 335 manual coupe?
I was looking for the same car through BMW fremont and east bay, they told me only 2 available and the silver one is gone yesterday and only the blue one is available when I left the dealer. Looks like I will end up order the 09 model.

I'm confused by this. Why would any dealer give the automatic credit for a stick car?

Because they don't know better... Seriously.

I had a client that purchased a 335i manual from me last month and he said that the dealer was giving the 205 OC on it. The bulletin on OC's clearly stipulates that in order for the OC to be given, it must have the option.

I was even asked recently by a friend at another BMW center if OC applies to European Deliveries! So it doesn't surprise me that this would happen.

Good luck on making a low offer.:( Availability of manuals are so slim that any center who has one can now capitalize on the mere fact that due to lack of supply and the 0.9% offer, a higher profit margin is justifiable. Moreover, we won't be seeing the 09 335i coupes until October, so any supply on the ground now is good through September. This presents many opportunities to review offers and maximize profit opportunities. Wouldn't you do the same thing if you know you had something that no one else has?

If the center does pass on the OC incorrectly to the consumer when do they realize that they messed up?

After the client has signed up and taken delivery. By that time, it's too late. The client signed and it's a done deal.

Locator show only one 335ci manual in the entire western region and it's in Tacoma, WA. Montego Blue/blk leather, CW, Prem, Spt and iPod (brushed aluminum):yikes:
