We seem to be having an increasing number of mis-titled threads. This practice will only steer away those who can help, and forum participation.

Remember, you want to attract those who can help you!

Try using the following pointers to steer you in the right direction:

*Please AVOID vague titles at ALL costs. Example “What do you guys think it is?” or “has anyone seen this before?” or "what the heck?"

Remember, you WANT to attract the attention of those who may be able to help you. Why make their job harder? Or leave them guessing?

Providing information - “The secret to installing the iPod interface!”
Requesting information - “Part number needed for iPod installation?”

(I kind of equate this to email etiquette, see: http://www.43folders.com/2005/09/19/writing-sensible-email-messages )

In the meantime, I will be (gently) editing some titles to help answer some questions that may have gone unseen, or noticed by those who may be able to help.

So please, no vague titles.

Really... Please?

Thanks Gene!

And guys, using expressions like Aaaaauugghh... or BAAA... (to show your anger or joy) in the title degrades from the thread's importance and value. Mentioning the topic professionally in the title is the best way to go
