I noticed that the ZHP brakes are silver coated. Are all of the 330, 325 and other brakes silver coated or just the ZHP? I do not remember my 2000 323 being painted like this.

They are all like that. At least all 330's. The ZHP has the exact same brake setup as other 330's.

I thought the brakes were the same as all 330's. I did not notice the silver coating until a couple of friends pointed it out to me. They really shine brightly.

Anyone with a sport, premium or base 330 let us know if they are painted a gloss silver color.

Same for all 330s, for about 6 months after that just brake dust and rust. Plaz's.

Thanks for the picture.

My dad's C32 has silver coated brembos. After a long track day in July when it was over 90 degrees the silver coating turned gold. Our opinion is that AMG and Mercedes want to see who is really driving their cars and they painted the brakes with some heat activated paint. I actually like the color they turned. At a concours he was asked if he painted his calipers and the judges did not believe him when he told them the story. I was at the driving school with him and can verify that the calipers were silver in the morning and gold in the evening.

To ramble further, I wish BMW would either contract with brembo or reconfigure their calipers. Brembo brakes are so much easier to change pads. You just remove two pins and the brake pads slide out the back of the caliper. They also put the nimple to bleed the brake lines where they can be accessed without removing the wheel.
