'04 330i

Does anyone know if any changes will be introduced in the '04 330i? I'm in the market for a '03 and I'm not sure if I should wait for an '04.

No one knows. But if there are any changes, they will be minor. Maybe stuff like adaptive headlights (like the coupe), etc. I wouldn't wait if I were you.

Perhaps the adaptive braking/LED tail lights. With the E90 due out in a year or two, I can't imagine they'll be adding revolutionary new features.

But if they do, perhaps you can get a great deal on an '03 330i on the lot! :thumbup:

I remember reading a press release when the facelifted coupe/cab was announced stating that SMG would be available in the 3er in the fall -- presumably like the transmission currently offered on the Z4. I couldn't find the press release again to confirm my memory though.

Yeah, Cliff, I seem to remember something like that, although I can't remember if it was confirmed or a rumor. I think the consensus was that it wouldn't the SMG II from the M3, so.... :rolleyes:

As it turns out, I quoted the PR in a much earlier post. It only applies to coupes and cabs, so never mind.

Well, then I must have heard it (SMG for 330i) in reference to upcoming ZHPs. Yeah, I don't know if the non-ZHP 330i's will get the SMG, but given that the 6-speed immediately jumped from the ZHP to the rest of the line, you've got to think.... :dunno:
