changed seats color combination

previously my seats come as a plain cream beige all over...

Then I saw the 2008 650i in germany with a 2 color combination seats (brown/black), the seats looked much better and slimmer.
so thanks to realoem I ordered the black parts and got them fixed.
This is how it turned out on my cream beige (beige/black) + the black floormats ofcourse... :D

Yeah I know but not all, plus the seats had to be taken out for replacing these parts, specially the ones around the handles, so better get the dealer to do it.

around $150 for the rear panel, lower lining was $27, and the handles frames were $20.

I don't know about the plastic portion piece around the buttons. But I know for sure you can take the back of the seats off w/out removing the seats. I have taken that piece out before.

Actually the car comes with these seats here unless you order the sport seats and this was not clarified to me by the salesman :tsk:. I would've ordered them but anyhow, those are more spacy. The trim was an additional option that I requested. We do not have a sport package, just a normal setup with certain options and if you don't like it, go with a special order like I did. although no sport seats but I atleast ordered Soft close + comfort access + L7 :D

Your car keeps getting better and better looking. Nice touch on the seats. I have the cream beige pearl. One of the things I love about it is the black nascar leather contrast on the dash, console, and door panels. I loved the color combination the first time I saw it on a 02 Z8!!

Also, I would have pegged you for a 6 spd manual transmission guy or at least SMG. Either way, nice job!!

Thanks man, yeah I thought of another transmission, but in Dubai it is better with an auto, I always drove manual but this car is meant to make me relax abit, not to mention that its damn powerful even with this tranny. SMG is abit harsh compared to auto & jurks sometimes during shifts + without a major difference in peformance. Maybe for my next car i'll consider something different :p

I don't think the there is anything wrong with the auto tranny. My Dad has the same car as yours with Auto, I've driven it and like you said, there is plenty of power there. Myself, I've had an auto in my X5 for 6 years after having all sticks. So the manual tranny was the only way for me to go on the 6. I love it. Although, I agree, the auto is much more relaxing. Especially on long drives or in traffic.

see about the combination of colors, my car came with a very nice combination of colors exterior+ interior...the color outside is same as strattus's but the interior leather is olive green...i bought it from the dealer like that and they told me that its a individual!!:dunno:
but really its looks amazing ill have pics by tomorrow since ill be going out to sea on the boat:thumbup:

Cool, yeah I saw this combination at the dealer but I somehow preferred the cream beige. I don't think it's an individual color, it's available as an option aside to other interior colors.

STRATUSS 650, I told you that my 6er was individual, you didnt believe me!!! i just saw the seats today and its a two tone seat just like what you have after you changer the black parts!!!...my seats are dark olive green and the back part is black as well as the down part of the seats are also black...:bigpimp:

Hmm... but the Individual will Only come with the High Gloss Shadow Line, which is chrome in your ride :dunno:

As I said, the Olive green was a standard option but I selected the cream beige.

Talking about individual, this is the '08 individual Package, Do you have the word "Individual" written on the door step ?

It might not look so but it is, coz you can see that the dash is grey, the beige interior comes with a black dash :)

Very elegant from the inside though :thumbup:

Wasn't a fan of olive green in the 70's, still not a fan now. It is different though.
