06 326 steering column issue

Noticed the car we looked at was in for service 3 times for a steering column adjustment. What was the issue??

it makes noise when you turn

The 06s (like mine) have had to have the steering columns ultimately replaced to prevent a Steering Lock error that doesn't let you start the car.

We just had a software update, and no issues since then. The electric steering lock is still there, just behaves better for now.
