i knew someone was gonna say it! :) i'm not sure if i want to go through all the neg aspects of dropping it just for the look. (rough ride, bottom scratching going up on driveways, tire rubbing on the car, etc) i don't mind the look of the car even though its not dropped.. don't think 1-1.5 inch makes a difference to most people, including me. of course the peoople that have their cars dropped will notice it and can be an eye sore for them. sorry guys!:p

If its not getting dropped, why not a body kit such as wald or ac schnitzer?

It won't feel rough if you get eibach or H&R, and it certainly won't rub if you get the right offset. :) You can drop it 1.2" front 1" back using the H&R and I believe Eibach drops it 1.2" front and back. This drop is minimal and you won't notice a difference. The only chance you'll rub if you get a bigger offset or spacers or you have an adult in the back (Which is impossible lol)

see i thought about that too but i just didn't want to turn my car into a rice box. it's cool to put a kit on japanese cars like hondas but on a classy car like the 6er, i feel like it's very difficult maintain class when you put a body kit on.
*although i have seen some that look pretty nice on m6 forums, i just think it looks like it's trying too hard.

i guess this could be an option BUT still 1-1.2" isn't THAT big of a difference.. meaning people on this forum or people into cars might notice the drop but most people would not (before going on this forum, i don't think i would have even noticed a dropped 6er when i saw it)

plus i love making my sumo wrestler buddies sit in the back seat!

don't get me wrong, i'm considering it.. just can't seem to justify loss in comfort and possible future damages to the car (i have a buddy that dropped his corvette and every time we enter a garage or go over a bump, he hesitates and goes over it as slow ... as ... he ... can... ) for the small change in look. :eeps:

i think the difference is very noticable. H&R's are too rough from what i've heard. eibachs keep the stock ride comfort. i have the eibachs and there's not much i can't run over except for extreme angles in parking lots or speed bumps. just take those slower and you're good
