I was going through the settings and I always thought of why is there a pressure meter selection under the Languages/Units tab of the settings ? which pressure is this ? Is there a way to utilize this meter or sensor ?

I believe that in some markets, the TPMS can report the actual tire pressure to iDrive. Why we don't have that I dunno, considering my cousin's Acura can do it per wheel.

I think you can select either bar or psi

Selecting Bar does nothing. I'm thinking the bar setting is for milli-bar. Either way, it's not active on U.S. cars. I even reset TPM after selecting it....no joy.......Phil

Metric or S.A.E. for tools. We all know BMW uses Metric, a 17mm. socket removes the lug bolts to replace a flat tire. A flat tire has zero p.s.i. here in america or zero bar in Germany. If that isn't clear enough, let me check your fuel pressure to make sure it's got 3.5bar. I need you to convert that to p.s.i. for me if you prefer that unit of measurement. BMW specs unit of measurement is bar, my gauge has both so I'm not worried.
