7.5 x 16 on 2006 xi w/sport

I bought a cheap set of rims that I thought were 7.5 x 17... turns out to be 7.5 x 16 (from 2006 530i base model). Does anyone know if I can put 16" tires on my e90? Thanks much.

I doubt they'll clear the brakes...and the offset will be incorrect for your car even if they do.
