My wife replaced her 1996 328 with a new 2008 335, so we have a 1996 328 4 door for sale. We are asking for $5,000 firm.

The car has 148,000 miles on it and runs great. I am handy and have done almost all of the maintenance (I have all records) and repair at home. The car has seen mostly synthetic oil and has never been tracked. It's been garage parked its whole life, at home and at work. The AC works great. The onboard computer says it still gets 31 mpg when you set the cruise at 70 mph on the highway.

It has the sport, premium and cold weather packages (fancy suspension, rims and tires, sport leather seats, and heated seats). It includes a BMW 6 disk CD changer in the trunk and a BMW alarm with keyless locking. Everything works great on this car except the backlight for the radio station on the stock BMW radio has been broken for 6 years, so it's hard to see what station its on at night. It is all stock except the upgraded (slotted) brake disks on the front. It has very nice Bridgestone W rated RE050's for tires. The car's manual, spare tire and BMW jack are all there. The battery, alternator and brakes were all changed within the last year. The car comes with two different brands of instruction/repair manuals, a fancy engine service reset tool and an extra cabin air filter. My wife took good care of it and it still has that new car smell to it (maybe it's just the smell of good leather).

There are two bits of acne on the exterior of the car. One is a rust spot above the driver side rear wheel well. That should be fixed before winter as it has grown a bit over the last 6 months and it will be butt ugly after another salty winter if it's not fixed. The second is a small crack in the windshield that we always covered with parking permit stickers. The crack has been there for 6 years. I had a glass shop drill a thing at the end of the crack so that it would not grow. You can barely see it on the bottom corner of the windshield on the passenger side. There are a few other small dings, mostly on the bumper from city parking, but they are minor.

The car is in Oak Park, Illinois, which is right next to Chicago. Email me if you want more pictures. My email is brianhuckstep@yahoo.com. Call or text 312-513-29o9 if you want more info.

The car is a 5 speed manual. I have attached more pictures. I'm not sure why the interior looks so dusty in these pics.
