Just purchased a 650 vert. 1000000% stock. I wanted to know if they made coil overs for this car and if they do where can I get them. Also wanted to know where to see a few different rear spoilers and M6 mirrors. Those will be the first few mods done to the car. I'm on the hunt for some wheels but know what to get yet. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you ALL!

Congrats....

Although I'm sure many will answer all your questions, as a great start use the search feature. You will find an abundance of info. on suspension, wheels, bodykits, etc...

BTW...post some pics when you get a chance. :)

Welcome.... thank you, thank you and thank you for taking the ultimate approach to lowering your car and buying coilovers!:thumbup::thumbup: I'm a strong believer in coilovers and the benefits.

KW V3 (Variant 3) is the optimum setup. I bought mine for my 650 from Derrick at D2 Autosports

But... if you are unhappy with the height or want the ride firmer or softer, with the eibachs.. you are screwed..

H&R Better on the track (Firmer) (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3433840&postcount=4)
H&R - Drop is perfect (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3433931&postcount=5)
H&R - Drop is perfect II (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3068833&postcount=20)
Eibach - Smoother ride but more wheel gap (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3364448&postcount=20)
Eibach are perfect even with spacers, no trimming! (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3333751&postcount=2) + no rubbing! (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3317411&postcount=43).... oh wait... I had to trim the fender lips (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3468866&postcount=16)
Love the Eibachs! (but minimal drop) (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3236917&postcount=12)

Moral of the story, if you want the ride of the Eibachs and the drop of the H&R's, or vice versa, you should buy coilovers and be the master of your own domain. Take the approach of "I am in charge!.. not Eibach or H&R!!"

Pretty much it all comes down to how much you willing to spend on a drop? If you want to spend 2-3k for the freedom of adjustment of the drop get coilovers, if you know beforehand how much of a drop and what size of rims your getting and looking for that perfect drop then get springs. There's advantage and disadvantage to both as described by Gene and ******** as well as many articals if you google search regarding the difference.

for the fist mods i'd go with important ones like wheels and drop not mirror and wing.
