BMW Assist

Hi. Just got my new X3, totally awsome. Am I able to use the assist function as a working phone or somehow plug my phone into it to get the better antena? I know that Assist will patch 4 calls a year up to 5 min, though I am looking at someway to make it my phone or linked through my phone. thanks!

what year?
it should have bluetooth built in, just do a search or go to the bmwusa.com site and search on bluetooth set up.

Hi. Yes, it has bluetooth that goes through my phone. I want to try and go through the phone that is built into the car for BMW Assist...or at least the antena for it.

If I recall correctly, I thought if you installed the phone cradle assembly in the armrest (assuming your phone is one that there is a cradle for), then the phone would both charge and use the car's antenna. Other than that, I agree.
