$4,000 this weekend only! I will be doing work on the car next week and my price will be going up! My loss!
1984 Hartge H23. This is a very rare real Hartge prepped 323i. It was imported through Performance Plus sometime in the 80s. This is a full grey market euro car. One of as little as 12-23 made worldwide. 170 hp and 2400 lbs. Hartge special parts include front valance, the rear bumper skirts, the badges, the mono windshield wiper, the wheels ( with brand new tires!), the struts, springs, sway bars, strut tower bars, headers, muffler, exhaust tip, special LSD, steering wheel, shifter, dash gauges, cloth recaros, stripes, and so on. This car even has the ultra rare extended range gas tank in the trunk and the Hartge head and cam. The car has had thousands spent on it over the years but it needs quite a bit more work to get it where it should be. A ton of service was done at about 150k by Auburn Foreign Car including timing belt, tensioner, water pump, seals, valve adjust, radiator, flex disc, battery, brakes, front end rebuild, trans mounts, shifter bushings, alternator, fuel pump, pressure regulator, windsheild, etc. Nearly $8,000 in receipts of work done in the last 20,000 miles. The car was hit on the drivers side while in the previous owner's possession. I have a good condition used door and fender that come with the car. There is also a dent in the quarter panel. The driver's side seat needs to be completely redone. The exhaust is not correct. I had a single exhaust ran from the Hartge headers back to a silencer to a muffler then the Hartge tip welded on. Looks right but it technically isn't ( I still have the Hartge muffler). There are plenty of little issues here and there. AC needs to be charged, sunroof needs work, etc. The car really needs to be gone through and completely redone in my eyes. I'm interested in selling the car to someone who is going to do that. Someone who appreciates what the car is. If you are serious, give me a call. I know a bit about the cars history. I'm not making any money whatsoever on the car. I just want it to find a good home. This car is a project but its project I would not hesitate to drive across the country. $4500 firm. Thanks for your time, Ryan 253-219-4016 Lots of pictures here,
