I can't stand how those people from 5th gear spend the entire damn episode saying: "oh look, this is the ONLY tv car show you need to watch", and "after the break tiff and that guy with a huge nose with an unbelievable clash of the titans race. Tiff and that guy have unbelievable driving skills, you can't miss!!!"

Who the hell are they kidding?

The Stig WTFPWNS them all. The Stig was faster in the celeb lap than F1 drivers N. Mansell and L. Hamilton, mmmkay? The Stig makes Tiff look like grandma on a london taxi.

And the other presenters have the charisma of Hillary Clinton. I can't stand that girl Vikki laughing at everything like she inhaled tons of laughing gas before every shot. Not only that all presenters always have the same opinions about the cars they review: oh its is great, oh I love it. They love everything. Hell that girl even said the Nissan 350z was her fav sports performance car!?!?! Hahahaha a Nissan and it is not even the GT-R.

And then they have those cheesy car lotteries if you visit their damn website and it is always a used cheapo car!!

On the other hand James, Hammond and May have real charisma and have miles more car knowledge than those 5th gear idiots. One gets the sense their reviews are actually useful. Not to mention the show is funny as hell.

I really enjoy Top Gear as entertainment, but let's not kid ourselves that Clarkson, Hammond and May have have much car knowledge that outweighs their thinly veiled biases, or that their "reviews" are usually useful in any meaningful sort of way. It's great comedy, but it's still just comedy nonetheless.

I am watching 5th gear because top gear is on a break, again!

Oh my god the fat dude from 5th gear actually said he never gets tired of watching Tiff drive because he wanted to BE Tiff when he was little, OMG ROFLMAO!!!

Those people need to get shot.

Not only is Tiff just a so so driver he never says anything smart and has these on camera orgasms while driving. It really is disgusting.

Needell first raced at a driving school at Brands Hatch in 1970. He progressed to Formula Ford, his progress assisted by the use of a Lotus 69 FF he won in an Autosport magazine competition.[1] The remainder of the 1970s saw Needell as a front runner in the British Formula 3 series and then in the Aurora British Formula One championship. In 1979 he was unable to graduate to the F1 World Championship due to the lack of the correct licence, but he was back in 1980, driving two Grands Prix for Ensign, qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix at Zolder. However, he had an engine problem and did not finish the race. He subsequently failed to qualify for the Monaco Grand Prix.
After this came sports cars with a Porsche 962 (LM) from 1989 to 1992. His best result in sports cars was 3rd at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1990. He then had a couple of years in the British Touring Car Championship with Nissan, before returning to sports cars in 1995, driving a Porsche at Daytona and a Jaguar XJ220 at Le Mans. He then drove the Lister Storm for 3 years, reaching 3rd overall at Daytona in 1997 before gearbox problems dropped them to 19th. In 1998 he finished 2nd in the GT1 championship and won the Silverstone Golden Jubilee Trophy race.
Since then, Needell's racing career has mainly consisted of racing tin-tops (hard-topped cars), with varying levels of success in sports cars, historic racing and touring cars. He achieved particular notoriety after an accident with Nigel Mansell at the 1993 TOCA shoot out race at Donington Park.

Well, I don't know a ton about Tiff's racing history or how accurate that Wiki entry is, but 3rd at LeMans or 2nd at a GT1 championship is nothing to sneeze (or laugh) at....

I enjoy the show..thats all. Considering the rest of the "quality" shows that are available to us regarding cars and bikes, its pretty entertaining.
