I believe that all of the S54 engines take the same filter.

Correct along with the E36-M3.

The same order from where I normally get it (bavauto) is $ 88.60 including shipping so this is a good deal indeed.

Let us know if they are quarts as stated or liters.

I recently ordered this Tischer E46 M3 oil change kit and the oil filter they sent is P/N 11 42 7 833 769 and the filter is a Mahle OX 187 which fits the Zed 4 S54 oil cannister perfectly.
That same BMW part number can also get you a Mann HU926/4x oil filter kit that doesn't fit the Zed 4 S54 because it won't clear the intake manifold housing

Let us know if they are quarts as stated or liters.

Tischer sent me six 1Liter bottles of the new "gold package" Castrol TWS Motorsport 10W-60, P/N 07 51 0 009 420, manufactured in the EU and filled on April 10, 2008.
With free shipping to the west coast and no Washington State sales tax it's a killer deal.

From BMW?

No, not from a BMW dealer, but if you order by BMW part number from suppliers like Autohaus AZ or Rockauto you run the risk of getting the Mann filter rather than the Mahle one. If you plug P/N 11 42 7 833 769 into the Rockauto website search you'll get a choice of either the Mann or the Mahle.
Trust me, the Mann doesn't fit the Z4 S54 cannister due to intake manifold housing clearance issues.

It's less than net +10%. With shipping they are losing.

North Haven shows it at $58.50 plus shipping. Not sure how they are doing that.

Must be a mistake.
$8.52 per liter
$7.38 for the filter
