Hello, was wondering if anybody was in the know about any possible cpo rates that might be offered soon... besides the x3, x5, and 7 series specials being offered right now. Looking to get into a cpo 2007 z4 coupe... but at 6.9 percent financing, it seems one would do better on a new car at 1.9 percent... Thank you for any information

also... (sorry ;) ) does leasing a used cpo vehicle like this (2007 z4 si coupe dealer demo with sport package and m seats and 6900 miles-no premium package... and no heated seats ) make much sense? and how does this work if so? The non-negotiable price of this vehicle (have tried to no avail) is $32,999 PLUS TT&L... Thank you again.

Won't see much on 07's for rate support. Rates are do to change on Sept 3rd. The 08 Z4 rate is great at 1.9% up to 60m.

Here's an excellent source of financing at 4.5% up to 60 months - https://www.penfed.org/productsAndRates/loans/vehicleLoans/usedAutoLoans.asp , anyone can join - https://www.penfed.org/howToJoin/overview.asp
I've been a member of PenFed for over a decade and they are excellent.

How much is the discount from the original MSRP. Remember that Z4s have come with a lot of trunk money (often as high as $5-$6K), so the actual dealer invoice for a new car is about $7-9K less than the MSRP.
And get a car with heated seats. In SoCal your top-down season will extend by at least 2-3 months with heated seats.
Though I would not mid getting a 5er or 7er demo, I will be a bit reluctant to get a Z4 demo. The age-profile of the test-drivers is likely to be much younger and the car is more likely to have endured a lot of spirited driving in those demo miles. Even dealer employees like to rev it up and throw it around since it is not everyday they get to ride in an awesome roadster.

Thank you all for the information! As for the lease part of my question... How will this car lease? Is it a bad idea to lease a used CPO car like this? Any benefit, since it has already depreciated? And, how would I calculate such a lease payment on this CPO coupe? Thank you

Those are questions that can only be answered by your dealer and BMWFS, because the residual would have to be calculated by BMWFS for each individual car and BMWFS does not publish MF's for CPO's.
