Do I need the M6 window switch to get the mirrors to work properly? Or is it just a plug and play install? I know some of you guys have done this mod,so if you can help me out on what I need to do to get these m6 mirrors to work properly,I really appreciated!!

My car is an 05'645cic btw.

It's only plug in play for the 04 645 due to it having the 3 wiring while anything after the 04has 1 wiring. So the answer is no it's not plug in play for any 6 after the 04 model.

I beleive its 04-05's are the only one that has the 1 plug you're talking about. I also heard that you will also need the m6 window switch, and the L&R mirror modules to have the power folding option to work. Is that correct?

6eR before 09/2005 has 3 wires. after 09/2005, 1wire.

I found what I believe is a 1 plug mirror set and I have an '04 - has anyone ever converted the plugs?

TopDownInFL....That's the thing, I have found and bought two sets of 1 plug mirrors. It's basically a no go but I'm pretty sure some savy wiring guru can make it work. I've taken off both door cards and it's a sight to see w/wiring every where. I've also talked to a few people online and all have said, save the headache and get the 3plug. I agree.

I'm currently on the hunt but if anyone has done it, please speak up and post pics if possible. Not sure if I would tackle it but it sure would be nice.
