I just saw the 2009 GT-R and test drove it. I pulled harder than a 09 Z06. It looks different and all the gadgets are crazy. The paddle shifts in milli-seconds. It is crazy. i wonder the depreciation on that car?

Depreciation is not an issue since it will hold its value in the long run. Just like past high performance japanese cars like Supra twin turbo and the 300ZX twin turbo. Although remember the GT-R is build for pure performance you sit inside one it has no luxry item at all!! its ungly interior and cheap parts inside so if your all for 100% performance then I'd spend my mine on it. If you want performance + Luxry get the new R8 or SL AMG... M6 can't touch those.

Its an attention-getter for sure, but in the wrong way. You'll have every single fan boi in the world at your attention. If you can deal with nissan frontier interior and tons of guys always hitting on you then you got yourself the best performance car you can buy for the $$$.

Fugly, amazingly fast car.

As e30e says, fan boyz will be trying to race it all day long.

If you want boy attention, the GT-R is the car for you.

If you want girl attention, well, the 6 is the sexiest Beemer out there!

This car is a flat out beast. Sucks to buy one in Japan though. It will be limited to 111mph unless you're at a track. Imagine racing some piece of crap as you hit the 111mph limiter and they go sailing by.

having owned and driven every GTR series since the R32, I really like it. The power on the 35 is amazing! My current R33 with over 600hp with its loudness, unreliable motor and transmission and neck snapping delivery pulls the same time as the new one.

Makes me wish I waited for the delivery last year rather than rushing to get the 6. At least the V-spec or Spec-V will be out soon!
Only thing I dont particularly like is the squarish, hummer like interior.

well I also bought 10 nissans for my company so I think they could afford to let me test drive it.
