Tire advice needed - Gary please help

Hi Gary -

So I was just about to get the FK 452s and I called Midas for mounting and balancing. They said that they wont mount and balance a normal tire on a car that is designed for RFTs. It will be a potential road hazard as the 650's suspension is designed for RFTs with stiffer sidewalls and with non RFTs (softer sidewalls) it will go all over the place. Wht do you think? Thanks in advance!

They are incorrect. While it is true that runflats in general have stiffer sidewalls, quite a few move to non runflats for better ride quality. As long as all four tire are the same and you make a good tire choice (I'm not familiar with Falken tires, sorry) the vehicle will be safe and stable.
