Im looking on the web to buy some gp thunder bulbs for the angel eyes and fog lights. I have an e93 335i with sport package. Some people are saying the bulbs for the fogs are h8 while some are saying they are h11. Can anyone verify?

I believe H8 rings a bell. I replaced my angels with GP Thunders and also ordered bulbs for the fog lights. However, the fogs seemed harder to change than I thought so I didn't bother.

Do a search in this forum. There is a thread that someone started that indicates what bulbs to buy and the exact step by step instructions for changing the angel's and the fogs. The thread includes pictures as well.

If you want the fog lamps to be useful, do not put white/blue ones there. More blue = more glare and less light on the road. That's not what you want in fog/rain, I am sure.

The bulbs are H11 (same dimensions as H8).

See, thats what I'm talking about, Majority of the threads say H8 but you say its H11. Even some of the tutorials show h8.

Halo Bulb - H8 (35 watt)
Fog Bulb - H8 (35 watt)
Corner Bulb - H3 (55 watt)

An H11 used as a fog will fit, but it is 55 watts and with throw an error code.

Check out http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39270 for more details & pics.

Unless you ordered the xenon headlights, the sedan (E90) DRL's use the inner halogen (or flash-to-pass) lights at reduced power (75% ?). The specific bulb should be listed near the back of your manual.

The E92/E93 come standard with xenons, which include the angel eyes/halos.

GPs are ok, we also offer them, but they aren't as bright as the LED.
