Hate to do it, but just too many cars, so one has to go. I have the truck to drive every day, the 911 for weekends, the race car for, uh, weekends too.
I've had this car about three years. Second owner I believe. The car is one of the last E39 540's produced, and got the full M5 body package from the factory. I LOVE it. Most of the power and performance of an M5, but less cost/maintenance.
I added the trunk lip spoiler (factory part), a set of BBS CH 19" wheels, a set of H&R sport springs, one of those Icelink iPod interfaces, and window tint. Otherwise, the car is bone stock. Black on black, with all the standard stuff for a 540/6.
I have recently gone through the cooling system - new radiator, water pump, hoses, and belts. The rear cover on the intake manifold has been replaced - they have a nasty habit of failing on these motors causing idle issues.
The car currently has some minor issues that should be disclosed:
1. Rear tires need to be replaced. Soon.
2. The car was involved in a minor front end collision before I owned it. Repair was top notch but there is a crack in the paint on the hood, passenger front leading edge. Pics below.
3. There are a couple of dings on the trunklid that could be dealt with by a pintless dent removal guy. No paint damage. Pics below.
4. A couple minor dings here and there.
5. Windshield seal has typical cracking but the integrity is not compromised.
6. A/C control unit does not blow as cold as it should on the passenger side. Driver side gets bone-chilling cold so it's not the overall system, just maybe the control panel.
Other than the items above, the car is VERY clean and shows VERY well, with great paint and an EXCELLENT interior. Mileage is a low 58,000 + or -. See pics. Fanatical maintenance either by me or Bullet Performance in Costa Mesa, CA. If you look at my sig you can see I take my cars seriously.
Altohugh I know Kelley Blue Book is somewhat of a joke when they give cars values, they put this car at $20,000 to $23,000 depending on condition.
Asking price: $19,000, or best offer.
See pics in subsequent posts.
PM me with any questions, or requests of pics of parts of the car not shown below.
Car located in Huntington Beach, CA.
VIN: WBADN53433GF71279
This car's on ebay now, NO reserve starting at $14,000.
Will somebody score this deal for $14,000? I think that would be a smokin' deal!
