I have longed for a BMW for several years now and perhaps in the spring of 2009 I will make my move.
A few questions:
1. I recall looking at a BMW media information document (7/2008) on this site concerning 2009 models. In one section of the document, it mentions the availability of a 330 (272 hp) engine, besides the 328, 335, ..
Will this engine be available to the North American Market? I'm Canada based, so maybe the engine may be available to the US and not Canada or vice versa.
2. Of all the paint colours available, "black" has always stood out for me as THE BMW colour, same for sports models from other manufactures. However, whenever I look at a black car that has been on the road for a while, whether freshly cleaned or not, I see scratches from washing or polishing jobs.
Is there a solution to avoiding this from happening? I really would like a black BMW, but may have to choose another paint scheme.
My second choice would be metallic silver, however, there was such a spectacular colour available a few models ago, the cuurent Titanium silver to me does not stand out like the previous silvers.
