Just wanted to say hi, just bought an 2005 X3 3.0 on sunday and I'm loving it. I haven't detailed how i want so I don't have good pics but I have a detai session for this weekend and will post some pics. (if I'm allowed).
It is a Black Sapphire Metallic wit Terracota Leather, I fell in love with that interior as I was walking to the car.
Also, I have some questions for later!! I'm sure this place is full of knowlegable people..

I'll be around!

Your X3 sounds like a winner! My wife and I leave for Munich in three days to pick up a new X3 at the factory, and she is really looking forward to the experience. I have a 2006 650i Cabriolet, but we needed an SAV (SUV) for our snowy winters in the mountains. I know she will enjoy driving the X3. Enjoy yours!

Thanks everyone. Yeah I can't wait for tomorrow and take some pics, it's in need of an emergency wax, I think it hasn't been wax in more than a year if not never.
The interior is pristine though, not a single scratch, rip or anything, not even dust to the side of the front seats that is where usually gets hard to vaccum.

I got to program my phone yesterday and is amazing, first one I have with bluetooth, the 325 didn't come with that option, well it says it's wired for....

I love to drive this thing, it really handles like a 3-series, (for the most part), and attracts lots of looks, these arn't too common in this area since we don't get to much snow. We do get ice though, so I guess for the first time in my whole life, I'm ready for winter! :bigpimp:

Next week I will be taking her to the dealership to program some functions that I'm used to, like the self-locking doors, open windows with remote etc. Oh by the way, anyone here with the alarm beep programmed? Just curious how does it sound.

Then since is under warranty for 8k more miles I want to check some details like the moonroof knocks when open at high speeds, and the electric engine fan making some kind of noise. (I didn't know these didn't have belt-driven fans!)
At the same time need to find out if the maintenance program has been performend and if needs something performe under that.
Does anybody knows when the brakes are supposed to be replaced?

Thanks!
Juan

The brakes are replaced when the brake pad sensor is tripped and the warning light comes on in the dash. Usually that is every 30-40k or so, although mine were still fine at 47,5k when I requested they change mine at least once. A look at the service history will tell you if they have been changed.

Great looking car. I have an '06 titanium silver with terra cotta interior, and I have always felt that terra in a black vehicle would look fantastic, offers the greatest contrast. Enjoy the car, it will be a blast.

Thanks everyone! Glad you like the color combo, actually that was what made me decide for this one. There was a silver/black and an ocean blue (?) /gray interior right next to each other, but this one just caught my eyes. It was a little more expensive, Don't know why (all of them )seemed to have the same options, and the same mileage, but I didn't stop to find out. I just liked this one.
Porschebreath, I'm pondering your suggestion...;)

Marean, cool! what color is yours?

Hey X-3 Terrestrial,

Here are some pictures of my '06 Titanium Silver with Terra Cotta interior. The leather is what really caught my eye when I saw this car on the local dealers CPO website. It took a few minutes to really grasp how much I really like that color leather. It looks great with my car, but I always thought it would look great in a black or dark blue car.

Enjoy your ride, as I have loved every minute in mine.

Wow.. My mother lived in Paragould for about 16 years... Had to pull her out a couple of years ago, to put her in a nursing home..

I'd love to tell you some great things about Paragould, but none come to mind.... lol...

Oh yeah... I had a nice lawyer, there..
