Price for 335xi sedan and 335xi coupe in NY

I live in central NY and I am considering getting a 09 335xi sedan or coupe (sedan it seems right now based on the price difference). I have never owned a BMW before so I am wondering what people are paying locally.

$500-$1,000 over invoice.

Look up invoice, price it out with options... with $850 destination, $180 training fees, TTL, and there ya go. Pretty standard formula.

In addtion to the $180 fee my dealer wants another $300 fee for training or something so the add on to cost (before profit) is $480, does that sound right?

Yes it does:

Selling price (before taxes) = dealer invoice + options at dealer cost + $180 training fee + $300 MACP + destination charge.
