First of all im new here so hello everyone.
I use to have a 98 328i 4dr loved the car let my ex drive it and she crashed it so I traded it in blah blah blah and now I am back ended up with another bmw a 325i 94 4dr. There is a couple problems with the car and wanted some help on maybe what the problems could be or what I could do to fix it.
First, when I start it cold than drive around I get a rough idle but only for like the first 3-5mins of me driving.
Second, my gears(its an auto) shift around 3.5-4k and I thought this was alittle werid. Sometimes it will just stay at like 4k rpms and take about 30+ seconds to finnaly up-shift. I also think sometimes my car will start in 2nd gear because it if I put my foot almost to the floor it will barely move and take forever to go through the rpms.
Third, my onboard computer reads a different speed than my gauges. It's not a contest differance its always different sometimes it will be like 10mph under or 5 mph under. Could this be the computer or my gauage or just a bad sensor?
Thanks for the help.
