What is the length and width of the front license plate? I'm planning on taking only carry on for my trip and want to make sure it will fit.

I believe it's standard EU size of 21". If I recall correctly, zoll plates used to be shorter, but I believe they are as long as regular plates now.

I have mine sitting in my office; it's 21" by 4.5"

I had no problems fitting it in a 22" wheeled suitcase I've used as a carryon on other flights.

The front plate, first aid bag of stuff (large on the convertible), triangle, and tool kit (small) all fit in my carry on too.

The car comes with a carrying bag for your plate. I just hand caried this bag to our flight back home.
