Ok, so you can save a .gpx file directly from via Michelin to your computer.

I placed it in my Garmin gpx folder on my Garmin and the cities (starting from and ending in) showed up as favorites. However, the Garmin does not follow the same route I planned on via Michelin (michelin recommended).

Is there a way to force the Garmin to follow the Via Michelin gpx file (michelin recommended)?

BTW-I have a Garmin Nuvi 200w

Thanks.:)

Typically, you can't as Via Michelin and Garmin will use different routing algorithms. The gpx file will just contain the start and destination point(s), not the actual route details. The only way you could get the Garmin to follow the same route would be to manually add "via" points that the Via Michelin route takes and then hopefully then Garmin routing would be the same.
