MSRP for M3 in Northern California?

I haven't had any luck finding a dealer in N.Cal that will sell the M3 @ MSRP. Can someone point me to the right dealer?

Why don't you try other states. Someone posted in a different forum that it seems quite easy go get one @ MSRP in TX...

For instance, there is a small dealership in Temple, TX with an M3 Cab and an M5 just sitting there with no buyer. All financials can be handled by fedex and you could fly in a pick the car up to drive home. 1200 mile would be done when you arrived back!. I've also called into NV and found some sitting around at MSRP. I didn't find the colors/options I wanted, but there were some really nice cars waiting for someone to drive off in them!

This is what I did: emailed every dealer that I could find. Got a reply from a little dealership about 140 miles from DFW area (lucky) that they had an M3 with no buyer. It was not speced like I wanted, but bought it anyway. Left myself on the list at my local dealer. When my turn comes up may sell my 2002 and spec the 2003 as I wish. Meantime, I'm driving an M3. Of course, all this depends on how the used M3 market is at the time. Only drawback to that plan is that I will have to go through the 1200 mile restrictions again!

steve thomas bmw down in camarillo does msrp. that's where i got my cb/b smgII cab. there is a dealer up here in the bay area that does msrp as well i believe but i don't remember who it is.

There was an M3 sitting on the lot at Long Beach BMW a few weeks ago that didn't have a price above MSRP written on it, but I didn't ask anyone so I don't know what they were actually selling it for. There was no 'sold' sign on it, so it doesn't seem that it was spoken for.

As an aside, I saw two M5's sitting on the lot without buyers at Irvine BMW last week. One of them looked like it had been sitting on the showroom floor for quite a while - you could see scratches all around it, 'ring marks' from people gliding their hands across the car as they walked by. I *hate it* when people do that - that's either stupidity or total lack of respect.

The salesman that was helping me said the scratches could be rubbed out. Some of them were pretty deep, so that would require the removal of quite a bit of paint. I certainly wouldn't want that car (well okay if someone /gave/ it to me I might take it heh).

If that is true, I will kill them. They gave me MSRP after they made a very bad mistake and screwed me out of a car. If they're handing out MSRP now, I'm gonna demand money off.
