Thanks... I haven't seen the car or the terms yet. The dealer is about 60 miles away. So I have to see if they will send me all the terms so I can review them. I did this all over the phone and email.... oh and if this helps anyone here is the email.

Hello,

I may have contacted you in the last week regarding an Infiniti G37. I am not sure why you are not able to offer me the car’s rate over the phone or via email. I am not really interested in driving over an hour to some of the dealerships to look at this vehicle. I know what the vehicle is; I have driven my brother-in laws G Coupe for over a week. I like the G Coupe and I know this is what I want. Although, if it become too much of a hassle to get some info on the cost of this lease, I will look at a competitor or end up purchasing the vehicle at the Manheim auction.

I was looking forward to a no hassle email or phone exchange regarding the lease options on this vehicle. In 2006 when I leased my Acura I didn’t step foot into the dealership until I picked up the vehicle. I simply emailed all the Acura dealers within a 100 mile radius and requested prices. When one dealership offered me the best price I called and put a deposit on the vehicle the moment I received it, simple as that.

My credit score is excellent at 810; I am a director of IT and run my own IT consulting company.

I don’t want to waste my time or yours and I think this is the most professional thing to do. If you are interested in my business you may call or email back the following info:

The selling price, money factor and what would the monthly payments of the vehicle at 36/39 months (whichever is better) with the following options:

Exterior: Platinum Graphite, Blue Slate or Amethyst Graphite, (black is my last option)

Interior: Graphite leather with washi aluminum
Optional Equipment: P01 Premium Package, U01 Navigation Package.

The MSRP for this vehicle should be $41,865:
The Invoice should be: $38,248

$2000 OTD.

Thank you and I am sorry if I come off to strong, I know that time is money for you as well as for me. The time I spend dealing with these issues the less time I have to handle my business.
Email: xxxxxxx
Phone: xxx-xxx-xxxx (please use only if you have the info I requested)

Ashe,

I negotiated $11,000 off the price on our M35x

It did have 2k on it, but it was sold as new.

The g37 is probably a "hotter" selling model, but I think there's more room there.

Thats the thing... none of the other dealers in my area...they all called me could come close. I even went to the salesman that I test drove the car with, he ran the numbers right in front of me and the deal was a 1600 loser for them. He could do it slightly higher but they were still losing a little money on the deal.

Ed what do you think of this...

There is a guy in CT who wants to get rid of his G Coupe. It as 15 months left and is in great condition. It is loaded Tech, Nav, Prem and Spt.

He is asking 2500 and its 420/month.

Thoughts?

Ashe,

I've been without an internet connection for a few days.

That would be a good deal depending I'd think - can you buy the car at a good price at the end of the lease and what's the mileage?

Ed

Current mileage is around 12k... the buy out is 32k. I dunno if I want to pay 2500 upfront.

Congrats! I've had a G37 for about 10 months now. It's a great car to drive! Couldn't get the Sport though. The seats were really painful on my ass.

When I got it most dealerships were still pushing them for just a tad under MSRP. I got mine through VPP so the price was below invoice. It's a 2 year lease with absolutely no money out the door. I'm paying just a tad over $500/mo. The best part is my dealership that offers all maintenance covered at no cost. Drastically lowers the TCO.

I turned in my lease of a M35x for my G37. I really miss that car. Almost opted for a M45x instead but couldn't justify the extra money over what I was paying for my M35x.

Now I no longer have a place to play all the DVD-A discs I bought.

Why buy a japanese blueprint car when you can buy a german engineered car?
