HA so funny story short, I'm trying to hook up my angel eyes and was looking for a ground. So I spot the alarm on the front and start to unscrew it and of course it goes off, rolls up the windows and locks the doors and my keys are in the front seat. I bought the car with only one set so I'm SOL. Does anyone know a trick on unlocking the doors from under the hood or something that I'm unaware of? I don't have a slimjim to pop the locks and I haven't ever tried to pop the trunk. It's a 1995 3.18is.

To all you young guys out there: If you buy a Bimmer with only one key, the very first thing you should do is go to a dealer and buy a spare key. It is the cheapest insurance you will ever buy.

yea but they charger up ur a** for a extra key. u can call triple A or u can maybe call a tow truck service they usually have one of those slim jim things, if uget a slim jim u might be able to (idk if they work on BMW probably do but u never know "luxury") but have been there done that on other cars.

I got it. I ended up fishing the keys up to the window seal with a clothes hanger and grounded the alarm again then got an S shaped screw driver and hit the unlock button through the window. I tried to reverse the polarity of the door locks in the fuse box and didn't work, so if anyone gets that idea don't try it. Thanks for the responses guys, I know I earned the dumb A of the day award.
