quick question I have a 1993 318is
and have no heat
- i changed the thermostat in the winter, thats working fine
- flushed the heater core, its clear
had the car at normal temp with the water valve hoses off going in to the core and there was little to no flow, so im guseeing that its not working
I put a test light to the wiring harnes to see if it was getting power ( would it light up if it was getting power?) all of the fuses in the fuse pannel are good
should i just change the valve?

thanks guys

if you are getting light at the connector then u have power. I would clean the heater valve. Have you also tried your cabin filter?

make sure you bleed the system properly.

I know this is going to sound stupid, but did you adjust the hot/cold dial on the dashboard? I know my car in order to adjust the heat/a/c you have to adjust the temp. on the computer and then turn the dial either to hot or cold (red/blue)

On my past E36's, you could not have hot air blowing towards you. Is designed that way

When you turn the dial to blow in your face, there was a blue line on the dial indicating that oly cold could come out
