If you buy the real BMW kit (or its component parts) you need the BMW instructions, which don't completely apply to the version of the kit you'd get from nav-tv (they supply a stick-on antenna and no amplifiers). To get an idea of what is involved, look at the BMW instructions (http://www.tmk.com/transient/204en.pdf) and supplement (http://www.tmk.com/transient/258en.pdf).

hey thanks again. I thought nav-tv had amplifers if you have a E38
