ran out of gas, check engine light now on

yeeeeeep, im an idiot and ran out of gas the other night, luckily coasted right into a gas station and filled up with the good stuff. but since then my check engine light has been on. any ideas on how to get that damn thing off ?

after about 50 start cycles it will clear itself..older cars can sometimes be reset quicker if you disco. the battery...REMEMBER TO HAVE RADIO CODE FIRST.
newer cars with OBDII can be reset quicker with OBDII tool.
