:dunno:I have read just about all of the post concerning changing the fluid in the 1995 540i auto transmission, (the lifetime fluid), but I havent found anything about flushing the compleat system. Just dropping the pan, filter, etc... does not clear out the fluid in the torque converter, with-out doing that we are not getting the majority of the fluid out of the system and that just seems to be a half-ass way to maintain such a fine car.
Does anyone out their know if a compleat flush can be done? I am not familiar with the process of a flush, where you pump the new stuff in, it's easy enough to figure out where it comes out. Any ideas out their?

Do Not flush your trans. Just change the contents of the pan and the filter.

If you do not want to listen to my advice do the following:
Go to any major chain car care location and let them do it. You need a special machine to help you break your trans.

Ok, I'll take your advice and just change the contents of the pan and filter. Thank you for your assistance.
