Hello
I'm shopping for 08 M3 cp or convert. with DCT and I was wondering how much should I offer the dealer?
does the invoice sound reasonable or I can do better?
thanks

I got mine for about $900 over invoice last week. I may have been able to do better but I found the car I wanted at a dealership very near me.
Of course the longer they stay on the lots, the more desperate the dealerships get, and the bigger discount you might be able to get.

I used the invoice price at edmunds.
$1400 over invoice is still not a bad deal at all. You might be able to do better though, if you hunt around. However, note that you'll most likely be charged a shipping fee also for a car that is far away.

Caution: Dealer Invoice also includes the MACO and Training Fee and possibly the Dealer Prep and of course Dealer Doc fees, which are obviously not listed on KBB or Edmunds :(

you are right!! they got back to me saying the invoice is 72695(including the MACO Training and the prep) ...on kbb it is 72065 so there is about 630 extra... they want 500 over the invoice ...is it a fair deal?

manonfire, personally I think its insane to lease the car right now when you can buy it at 0.9%.

The lease rate needs to be around $750 a month to out weigh the benifit of the 1.9% financing offered on the coupes. .9% financing is being offered on the sedans which is even better.
With your 3% down your payment will be $100 more a month, but at 3 years you will only owe around $15,000 on the auto loan have a car worth at least 30*.
No wonder our financial world is all fu## up.
Tell your dealer, NO DEAL.
He'll get the rates right. M3's are not moving off lots. I'm in Vegas and there must be 10 to 15 M3 coupes and sedans just sitting there.
One has used, certified coupe with 5* miles on it for $58*. It had a stic*er of 69*. They just aren't moving.

It was at Desert BMW of Henderson, NV. I just checked their website and it is gone. It was black with all options but sunroof and SMG.
