Hey all,
I just got a job offer in Mesa, and while I consider it, I wanted to get some insights about AZ - I've never been there, so all I know is what I hear on the news... which is only about the triple digit weather!
I obviously trust the judgement of people on this site (you all bought Bimmers, right?!?) so what do you have to say about the Phoenix metro area?
No snow ftw!!!
No toll roads ftw!!!
Snow birds and Speed camera's FTMFL!

Speed cameras are a pain.
But weather right now is AMAZING!!!!!
The high is in low 80's. Its typically around 77 near where I go. Im in the scottsdale/Paradise Valley area
We need more drivers from the forums to get the bimmer meets going

Congrats on your new job. You will like it here, as the others said watch out for speed cameras (or get a good plate cover). Your coming into our best weather now, perfect timing!

Thanks, guys. Do they use laser out there, too? Maybe I need to put an LI on my relocation package ;)

Yep. Come check out AZEuropeans.com and AZBMW.org
Lots of other BMW enthusiasts and plenty of group gatherings when May (Bimmerfest weekend) isn't happening.

Weather=9 months paradise+3 months too hot
Roads are great, won't ruin your tires and rims.
Rarely need car wash, just dust when you get home.
What could be better?
