Hey guys I jsut got a 535i and Im new to the forum, so I hope Im posting to the right place.
Im looking to buy a exhaust mounting bracket (the one that attaches to the manual transmission and the two exhaust pipes). Seen here as parts 5-10, mine are rusted off.
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=HD13&mospid=47408&btnr=18_0070&hg=18&fg=05

Also the car came with bav auto sport springs (red), and they are too low for driving the car here in NYC. So if anyone has a full set of stock springs in good condition for my 89 535i, let me know.

thanks!
george

George,

I have a set of rear springs with under 800 miles on them, sorry to say, I did not save the fronts when I went to the sport setup. The fronts were 16 years old and I would not Stick any one with them. At present, I am in NJ. I can let you have the rears (Pair) for 60 bucks.

The fronts may be hard to find as you may have learned already. There is only one place I know that has them new for about 140 each. A full set of sport springs are cheaper than that

You should be able to find a set of used OEM springshere. http://data.bmrparts.com/bmwparts/16869274031914U.html

Hey CarDriver,
Thanks for the offer, but Im sure someone out there must have all of them left after a conversion, and if not then I will just dish out the money for a kit that doesnt have as much of a drop, definetely not spending that much cash on stock springs lol

thanks!!

Thanks for the reply, but it doesnt look like it.. different part numbers because of the weight difference.
