Here’s my Problem:

I have a BMW 93’ 325i that I dearly love, but I only have heat once the car has been running for a while and I come to a complete stop. Another Problem is every two weeks (Or so) my Temp gage will go up the RED!!!!

1. I have replaced the Thermostat & show NO Visible leaks.
2. I have an Aluminum thermostat cover (Not plastic)
3. I have a newer Waterpump (Non plastic impellers)
4. I have replaced the Microfilter.
5. I have added tons of coolant to make 100% Sure that there is NO air bubbles.
6. I understand how the Red/Blue dial switch works under thedash. (This seems to be everyone 1st question)

After a couple weeks (Checking it EVERY other night) the temp gage will go all the way up to RED. I have learned a Trick to Vent the Cap and the Temp gage will go back to normal until I get home (Yes, it’s cool when I had the coolant) and add more coolant. What the Hell is happening to my baby. Where is the coolant going that fast??? As for my heater issue, why do I only have heat when I stop???

Hi

Please excuse me asking this, but are you sure you are bleeding it properly?

Use the DIY here http://www.bimmerdiy.com/diy/e36coolingsystem/ and make sure the front of the car is elevated (park on a hill or use ramps)
