View Full Version : Will there be a 2004 ZHP?
Does anyone have any information about whether the ZHP Performance package will be available on the 2004 330i?
I'm not ready to buy right now, and owning a more recent model-year car seems like a wise move for resale value. Also, I'd like to get the adaptive lights and whatever else they might bring over from the 2004 coupe.
But I'd hate to miss my shot at the zhp, if it was only for 2003....

I think that it will be all speculation until we hear the official word but I would guess that they'll keep it until the E90 sedan arrives. Another question would be will they make a ZHP option available on the coupe?:dunno:

You never know, but I don't think they'll drop a package. As for the ZHP coupe, I heard different rumors.
Most likely there will be a year or two with no M3 before the new 4-series debuts (if the coupe will be called 4-series). It would make sense for BMW to offer a ZHP package for the coupe during that time. Just my thoughts.

Nah, i doubt they would make a ZHP for the coupe's. If they did, then the sale of the ///M3's will dramatically decrease.:dunno:

I assumed yes but I dont know for sure.
I wouldnt count on adaptive headlights being available on the sedan but the brakes light seem like a good chance since the press release made it sound that way.

Why would they drop it in 2004? It is selling great. :dunno:
I also doubt there will be a ZHP coupe but you never know. Stranger things have happened in the last two years of a model run in an attempt to boost sales.

If you're worried about resale, nothing kills resale more than a complete redesign, which is due out in 2 years. So if you're waiting until 2004 to buy a 2005 model, you're better off waiting another year for the completely redesigned E90.

We can make every single one of our 330's OZHPers...
You just can't get enough 330i allocation now.
Quoted from this thread (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27221). For now, Jon's the only BMW GSM to have made a statement on this topic on this web site. I have no reason to doubt him.
