Ok so I drive a 1992 525i... i have some minor issues occuring because i have sub woofers in the trunk. First the leather on the front passenger door came off and is now hanging. second, the plastic upper piece of the door handle(outside) fell off. the pulling open part is still there but the plastic upper piece fell off. Can anyone help me with my issues? thanks

Vibrations perhaps made them come out? :dunno:

I don't like subs in cars. But anyway, thats a tough one, you'll need a diagram on how to put them back on properly.

my son had the same problem and the only way to avoid this problem is take the volume down a few thousand notches or super glue the whole car

Re-glue the panel and find a new handle cover (they are metal).

I dont think there is anything wrong with subs in a car. They can do wonders for the sound quality, but if you are listening loud enough to damage your car you should probably turn them down (dont bother calling me an old fart, I'm not).

buy new doorpanels

the vinyl shrinks and that is waht casues them to seperate.

Side note. the redesign of the 95 prevents that fromever happening.

Yeah, was about to say my 95 530i sits with two 12 inch audibahns in the trunk playing peak all day long, no issues.

Attack Eagle I guess you aren't perfect after all!I mean the way you spelled... waht(what)& casues(causes).Ohh by the way I have a 1995 e34 and my vinyl shrinks too!

true. Holding a crying 2 year old in one arm while typing one handed... mistakes can be made.

on the 95 when they shrink they don't pull 90 degrees to the inserts.

MIne are so taut now they flow from the armrest top directly to the bottom of the door panel, intead fo being flat below the armrest.

Plan on 95s with factory wood anyway, which is why i had no problem taking my ultra rare BMW Accessory 'wood for non-wood panels' off and using it to test refinishing techniques. :)

What ever Attack Eagle!Just don't be so perfect and hard on other member's here when we misspelled some words like I have seen you making fun of other memeber's including myself in previous treads here at bimmerfest!

no. people who don;t care, and people who Text-type, are different from people who transpose keystrokes.

I will continue to mock the ever loving hell out of them.

So my 1995 panel inserts won't fall all over the place? And to think, I bought it for the 2nd airbag. This is great news.
