OK Nor easters, listen up! Let's hear about the best pizza you've ever had and location. You may list up to three, but the rule is one regular gas oven, one wood fired oven, and one coal fired oven. I'll go first:
Regular oven: Joe's on Carmine Street NYC
Wood: Naples No. 28 also on Carmine Street
Coal: Lombardi's Spring & Mott Street

Don's Pizza King in Belmar, New Jersey. The best, ever. They use a regular oven.

Not sure of the spelling but, if the owner of Elegante Pizzeria in Bay Ridge (5th Ave? bet. 64th & 65th Sts) personally makes Foccacia, it is the best I've had in the USA (and also the best I had in Italy but, I've only been there for 10 days so that doesn't really count). Foccacia is pizza without cheese, thicker crust, more tomatoes, and more spices. YUM!

Pete and Elda's is very good. Did you get your T shirt yet? I have never done it, but my brother has. I lived at the Jersey shore for 18 years and just couldn't finish all that pizza in one sitting.
Maybe me being lactose intolerant has something to do with it. Hahaha.
