when I turn my car WITHOUT my clutch petal in my engine kinda goes thunk thunk thunk when I turn it off, and with it pressed in its a nice silent engine turn off, good and normal....

yeah but why is it making that noise on engine turn off, how do you know if you have bent valves?

in my TR4 days that was a sign of throw-out bearing, or sticking clutch plate --

either the engine doesnt run or it sounds like its running on 3 cyclinders with a metal to metal contacting sound every .5 seconds.
