525it lighting

I have a 1995 525it. All of a sudden the instrument lights stop working. However, if I turn on the intermittent rear wiper, the lights come on, but only as long as the wiper is reunning. Anyone know why?:dunno:

bad ground maybe.
bad cluster maybe.

there is a short circuit which make this problem, check fuses and relays. Follow the wires under the sterrring wheel where instrument panels and wiper meet.
