Can you use a Ltw flywheel with an SMG m3?

That is a really good question.....are light weight flywheels out yet? I would think that SMG monitors engine speed so if it drops more quickly then the system would engage more quickly as well. Guess we will have to wait and see.

It depends on the algorithm of the throttle blipping in the computer. If the amount is a formula of current engine speed and difference in gear ratio between the two gears, then it might blip too much. If it constantly monitors the engine rpm real-time and stops blipping when the rev-matching is complete then a lightweight flywheel won't cause any problems.
