Traded in the 330i for a 08 Jerez Black M3. Loved it from the sec I saw it. Loaded with everything but the auto sun shades.
Here are some quick photos. More to come.
What do you guys think about a light tint.. 40%-50%?
Was looking into the clear bra, matte black grill and the GP Thunder 8500k Angel Eyes for two small mods.

Thanks guys! Such an awesome jump from my last 3 cars. 350z, 01 s4, and latest 330i! Movin on up! Ha!
I was going to order the angel eyes and kidney grills through Modbargains.com. Used them in the past and never had any problems! They do sell them on ebay as well.
The clear bra.. there is a place in Milford CT that did my buddies E46 M3.. came out great. Looking at $700-$1000 though. I had the clear bra on my 350z and am a big advocate of them. Hate rock chips on the front bumper!
Any suggestions on the tint?

Go with a 35% all around...as its with-in the legal limit at least here in canada.....and its dark enough to keep you cool in the summer days...and also gives a little privacy :)
Plus my car is alpine white / black so i think it should blend in quite well.

+1 on the clear bra. As you already know, it will pay for itself down the road.
For the tint, go with Formula1 Pinnacle ceramic tint. It has great heat rejection qualities and won't interfere with your electronics. I also recommend getting 35% all around. Not too dark, but it'll block the heat nicely and give you a little privacy.
Congrats on the new rig!
How would you describe Jerez Black? Is it similar to Carbon Black?
(nice car, BTW).

Congrats! I commend you on your excellent choice. You are obviously a gentleman and a scholar.
Here's a 50% tint on my car for ref.

I would describe the Jerez color as carbon black with a tad more blue in it. I've gotten many compliments on the color already. I don't think there is a color this car does not look awesome in! That's when you know you just dig a car.
jbeene.. thanks for the pic reference. Too me the 50% looks nice!

Yes, 50% is dark enough to cut a bit of sunlight and make sure you are not instantly recognizeable but not so dark as to be "pimp" or get the attention of the Gendarmes.
