I HAVE A QUESTION. I HAVE A 99' 528 WITH 18X8.5 AND 18X9.5 RIMS. I WOULD LIKE TO LOWER THE CAR BUT I'M NOT SURE WHATS THE BEST WAY TO GO ABOUT IT. SHOULD I CHANGE THE STRUTS AND THE SHOCKS AS WELL? IF SO, WHICH BRAND IS BETTER?

To lower a vehicle, you'll need to use lowering springs of some type. Stock shocks will work, but they'll wear out much more quickly, might want to save labor charges by having both done at the same time.

Thank you Gary. Would I need to get struts for the front, or would the shocks be fine? (I know they are pretty much the same thing, but I just want to make sure.)

We use the term "shock" to mean struts or shocks. You'll only be able to get one or the other for a given vehicle. You can the term "shock absorber" or "damper" to avoid confusion
